I’m still trying to go through all my photos from San Diego Comic Con 2019. After going through and doing my highlights of the Hasbro booth I’m still at like 800+ photos or so.

I could have just gone the easy route like so many bloggers do and just bullshitted 100-150 words and just thrown them all up at once and if you came here looking for a post like that I’m sorry but I actually know how to deliver content to people across the internet and I know that the easy route doesn’t work. I know that putting all those photos on a single post are more than likely going to cause your load time to drag on. I know realistically I highly doubt I’ll be able to hold your attention long enough to get you to see all 800+ of those photos. I also know how SEO works and considering how small my social media following is, 100-150 words isn’t enough for search engines to rank me high enough to put me on a result page that you might see. So here I am trying to partition all the pictures I took at SDCC into smaller easier to digest and easier to find portions.

While going through my pictures I realized that one booth that really caught my eye was the booth belonging to Elite Creature Collectibles.

For those of you who aren’t familiar with Elite Creature Collectibles, specializes in creating high-quality statues and busts of monsters and fictional creatures, some from recognized brands, some based on their original designs and ideas. In their own words ECC’s whole mission is “to make the coolest creature collectibles available on the market,” creating pieces “by creature fans for creature fans. Led by FX artist and creature designer Steve Wang, all pieces produced by ECC are made to meet the highest film and museum quality standards.

At San Diego Comic Con ECC brought with them a number of amazing pieces, most of them were based on the works of Guillermo del Toro

Here is the Faun from del Toro’s Pan’s Labyrinth.

Karis the reptilian hybrid alien designed by Miyo Nakamura.

Tre Kana by Akihito.

Draxian by Wayne Anderson.

Ultraman Suit Ver. 7.

A Cyclops.

The Pale Man from Pan’s Labyrinth.

A bust of The Amphibian Man AKA The Asset from The Shape Of Water. At first I thought this was Abe Sapien from Hellboy but after taking another look at it I realized he was the Amphibian Man.

Here’s a statue representing The Amphibian Man in his tank.

Medusa, another original piece. I thought it was unique that instead of giving her 2 human legs or a single snake tail they gave her two snake tail.

The Ultraman Suit.

Thanks for checking this post out. Sorry it’s a bit short and I’m sorry I can’t give you that much more information on the pieces. Honestly, I was really hoping to be able to pull more once I started writing but unfortunately there wasn’t too much about these pieces and the characters they were based on that I could find.

On the plus side I was able to give you more SDCC content in a smaller and easier to digest package. Don’t forget to check back soon for more from San Diego Comic Con 2019.
