So I’m not sure how to start this post off. I guess I could blame being late for not knowing what to say, but honestly even if I was more timely on this I don’t know what I would say that I didn’t say in part 1.

Rather than start babbling and risk sounding redundant I’m just going to skip straight to the pics. Enjoy!

Here’s some Psychos, with Handsome Jack the main villain from Borderlands 2 and Tyreen Calypso, one half of the main villains from Borderlands 3.

A Two-Face which is obviously inspired by Tommy Lee Jones/Joel Schumacher’s interpretation from Batman Forever.

Here’s Sunday Slays Cosplay as a Drukhari Archon from Warhammer 40K.

DC Comics’ Zatanna.

A more demonic take on Darth Maul.

A samurai version of Batman which I’m assuming was inspired from the Batman Ninja animated movie.

A Walter White from Breaking Bad, more specifically the season 4 finale, “Face Off.” In here the cosplayer is recreating the scene where Walter calls his wife to tell her he’s won after Hector Salamanca kills Gus Fring with the bomb Walt gave him.

A Wasp and Hank Pym from the MCU Antman movies. I really like how Hank is wheeling around his shrunken lab like in the movies.

Here’s Dexter’s Mom from Dexter’s Laboratory.

Here’s Roger Presa AKA hummin_h2, wearing his R2D2/Hulkbuster mashup which he calls the Vaderbuster. From what I’ve seen online, Presa is a professional cosplayer from the Bay Area and is known for some pretty big and elaborate costumes such as this. Other costume he’s done include a Sentinel from X-Men, Juggernaut, and the Rhino from Spider-Man’s rogues gallery.

Here’s a shot of Presa’s Vaderbuster’s backside just so you can see the amount of amazing detail he’s put into it.

Here’s another cosplay I’m not sure. I’m pretty sure they told me what it was but because it was so long ago I can’t remember, and once again it’s my fault for being late and forgetting it.

Battle Damaged Darth Vader. At first I was trying to figure out what this is from because I don’t remember Darth Vader looking like this in any of the movies, it turns out this is from the Star Wars: The Force Unleashed game from 2008.

Here’s a character that has multiple names due to having so many interpretations over the years. He’s Ken Washio/Ken the Eagle from Gatchamen. Mark from Battle of the Planets. Ace Goodheart from G-Force, or Hunter Harris from Eagle Riders.

A Ryu from Street Fighter with his hadouken.

A few ODSTs from Halo.

Cyclops and Jean Grey as they looked from the ’90s X-Men cartoon.

Here’s a good one, it’s Napoleon Dynamite.

Edgar the Bug busting out of his human suit from the ’90s Men in Black movie.

Wolverine wearing his second, brown costume that he wore in the ’80s.

Springtrap from Five Nights at Freddy’s.

Here’s another new one for me, it’s Dale Gribble from King of the Hill wearing his Dale’s Deadbug coveralls.

Tiny Tina as she looked in the Borderlands spinoff Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands.

A super Saiyan Vegeta. I like the unique take this guy did on the armor, it looks very reminiscent of the Batman suits from the ’90s movies, or the suits they used in the first Power Rangers movie.

The Man with the Yellow Hat and his Curious George.

Here’s influencer and model Rachel Pizzolato as Elektra.

Kiki from the Miyazaki movie, Kiki’s Delivery Service.

While we’re on Miyazaki’s movies here’s No-Face from Spirited Away.

Muriel Bagge from Courage the Cowardly Dog.

Neytiri te Tskaha Mo’at’ite, Zoe Saldana’s character from the Avatar movies.

While I was in the lobby somebody was trying to put together a Marvel-themed group shoot so figured I’d try to snapping a shot.

A really good Raphael from Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. This is a pretty legit suit, I mean this thing could pass as a movie grade suit from the ’90s TMNT movies which honestly I think looked way better than the Michael Bay movies.

Here’s Gracie the Cosplay Lass as Mystique. I’m not sure where the feathers come in but it looks pretty cool.

Here’s Jordan Olsen/Asia Vitale’s take on Hela from the Thor: Ragnarok.

Amanda Lynne wearing what I think is an interpretation on a classic Jean Grey/Marvel Girl costume.

Zuko and Ty Lee from Avatar: The Last Airbender.

Commissioner Gordon from the Christopher Nolan Batman movies.

Jacqueline Goehner as Sheik, Princess Zelda’s male persona from Ocarina of Time.

Starlight and The Deep from Prime Video’s The Boys.

An unmasked Master Chief.

J.K. Simmons version of J. Jonah Jameson.

A Deadpool mech on stilts.

M. Bison or Vega as he’s known in Japan from Street Fighter.

A Ghostrider.

Raven from Teen Titans.

Here’s another new one, it’s Cheech and Chong.

Barf from Spaceballs.

While wandering around the exhibition hall I saw Gracie still in her Mystique cosplay taking pics with a Rogue so I decided to get one too.

And I’ll close this one out with Bender from Futurama.

I like how he can pull his head into his body like the real Bender.

So that’s it for LA Comic Con and with that I’m now into 2023. Thanks for reading and wish me luck as I try to get caught up by San Diego Comic Con.
